The No. 2 seeded Auburn Tigers took on the No. 10 seeded Miami Hurricanes at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC tonight in the second round of the 2022 NCAA tournament. Auburn came into this game after an 80-61 win over the 15th seed Jacksonville State Gamecocks Thursday afternoon. Miami came into this one after knocking off the seventh seeded USC Trojans on Thursday afternoon. The starting five for Auburn were K.D. Johnson, Zep Jasper, Allen Flanigan, Jabari Smith, and Walker Kessler. The starting five for Miami were Isaiah Wong, Charlie Moore, Jordan Miller, Kameron McGusty, and Sam Waardenburg.

The No. 5 Auburn Tigers traveled over to Starkville, MS to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Humphrey Coliseum. Auburn came into this one looking to bounce back after a tough loss against Tennessee in Knoxville last Saturday. Mississippi State came into this one off a 74-69 win over the Vanderbilt Commadores at home on Saturday. The starting five for the Tigers tonight included K.D. Johnson, Zep Jasper, Allen Flanigan, Jabari Smith, and Walker Kessler. The starting five for the Bulldogs included Shakeel Moore, Iverson Molinar, D.J. Jeffries, Garrison Brooks, and Tolu Smith.

Auburn came into this one after a 83-77 loss to Florida at home Monday night. South Carolina came into this game after 72-51 win over the No. 21 Georgia Bulldogs at Stegman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia on Sunday.

Coach Johnnie Harris and the Auburn Women’s Basketball Team welcomed the Florida Gators into Auburn Arena tonight for the 15th game and 12th conference game of the season. Auburn came into this game off a 68-66 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville Thursday Night. Florida came into this game after beating Mississippi State 73-64 in Starkville Thursday Night. The starting five for Auburn were Sania Wells, Annie Hughes, Aicha Coulibaly, Honesty Scott-Grayson, and Jala Jordan. The No. 1 ranked Auburn Tigers traveled up to Fayetteville, Arkansas tonight to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena. The Tigers came into this contest after surviving a scare against the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Saturday, winning 74-72. Arkansas came into this one after knocking off Mississippi State at home on Saturday, winning 63-55. The starting five for Auburn tonight were K.D. Johnson, Wendell Green JR., Allen Flanigan, Jabari Smith, and Walker Kessler. Auburn was once again missing starting point guard Zep Jasper. The starters for Arkansas were Stanley Umude, JD Notae, Toney Au’diese, Trey Wade, and Jaylin Williams. The Tigers were looking to extend the longest winning streak in the country to 20 games.

The No. 6 Auburn Tigers traveled down to Baton Rouge, LA this weekend to compete against the No. 8 LSU Tigers at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Auburn came into this meet after a convincing victory over Alabama at Auburn Arena last Friday night. The Tigers took down the Crimson Tide 197.525-197.125. LSU also came into this meet after a win. They defeated the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, GA last Friday Night by a score of 196.850-196.100.

The No. 8 Auburn Tigers welcomed the No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide into Auburn Arena tonight for the Iron Bowl of gymnastics. Auburn got the night started on the vault, Alabama got their night started with the bars. After the first rotation, Auburn was leading 49.175 to 49.125. On vault for Auburn, Cassie Stevens recorded a 9.775, Sophia Groth recorded a 9.850, Suni Lee recorded a 9.875, Sara Hubbard recorded a 9.800, Drew Watson recorded a 9.825, and Derrian Gobourne finished it out by recording a 9.825. On the bars for Alabama, Lilly Hudson recorded a 9.775, Mati Waligora recorded a 9.800, Shania Adams recorded a 9.775, Cam Machado recorded a 9.850, Luisa Blancho recorded a 9.925, and Makarri Doggettefinished it out by recording a 9.425.

Bruce Pearl and the No. 1 Auburn Tigers traveled up to Colombia, Missouri to take on the Missouri Tigers this evening. Auburn took over the Number one ranking in the AP poll for the first time in program history yesterday after knocking off the 12th ranked Kentucky Wildcats at home on Saturday by a score of 80-71. Missouri is coming into this contest after an 86-76 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa Saturday Night. The starting five for Auburn tonight consisted of K.D. Johnson, Zep Jasper, Jabari Smith, Allen Flanigan and Walker Kessler. Missouri went with Javon Pickett, Jarron Coleman, DaJuan Gordon, Trevon Brazile, and Kobe Brown.

The Tigers came into this game on an eleven-game winning streak, after knocking off the Florida Gators at home last Saturday night. Alabama came into this game cold after taking a loss to the Missouri Tigers in Colombia.

The 18th ranked Auburn Tigers took on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Atlanta today taking part in the annual Holiday Hoopsgiving event. The Tigers were without Bruce Pearl today, as the NCAA finally issued punishments for the Chuck Persons scandal in 2017. Coach Pearl served the first game of his two-game suspension today. Wes Flannigan was acting as Auburn’s Head Coach today. Auburn came into this game 7-1, after dominating Yale 86-64 in Auburn Arena last Saturday. The Cornhuskers, coached by Fred Hoilberg, came into this contest with a 5-5 record. Their last outing was certainly one they would like to put behind them, as Michigan beat them 102-67 Tuesday night.

Auburn has been hot so far this season boasting a record of six wins and one loss, and came into this game off a dominant performance against UCF on Wednesday Night. The Tigers defeated the Knights 85-68.

Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Men’s Basketball team traveled down to Tampa, FL this evening to take on the South Florida Bulls at Amalie Arena. Auburn got off to a slow start, as it took five minutes for Auburn to come up with a basket. Auburn finally got on the board thanks to a three-pointer from K.D. Johnson. Auburn continued to struggle throughout the first half. The defensive play was less than stellar as well. The No. 21 Tigers trailed 33-26 at halftime. Jaylin Williams was Auburn’s leading scorer in the first half with six points, Jabari Smith had five.

The Auburn Tigers will host the South Carolina Gamecocks at Auburn Arena tomorrow night at 8:00 pm. Auburn is looking to improve to 14-10 overall and 6-8 in the SEC, and South Carolina is looking to improve to 14-11 overall and 6-9 in the SEC. Both teams have struggled to find success this season, but they have not been the worst. Auburn is currently sitting in ninth place in the SEC, while South Carolina is sitting at 11th place.

The No. 23 Auburn Tigers hosted the Florida Gators over at the Auburn Soccer Complex this afternoon. Auburn was looking to improve to 11-3 overall and 4-2 in the SEC on the year. Florida was looking to bring their record to 4-8-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the SEC.
