How do I become a DJ?
- Join organization on AU Involve
- Fill out “WEGL DJ Interest Form” on AU Involve
- Study up on the WEGL Handbook on AU Involve
- Schedule to take your DJ Test with our Station Manager
- Contact our Program Director for a showtime
- Get trained on how to use the board with a staff member
- Get with the Production Director and create imaging (show intros and outros)
How do I get involved in sports?
Contact Noah Phillips or Ethan Miller for broadcasting and writing opportunities in sports.
What do you do on the air?
What you do on your show is up to you. (Within FCC guidelines) You can host a podcast, just play music, or talk in between playing music.
How long is a show?
A typical show runs for one hour.
Where is the studio?
The Bradley Basden WEGL Studio is located in suite 1105 in the Student Center.
Are there any requirements for joining WEGL?
No, anyone is welcome to join WEGL. There are no previous requirements for writing, broadcasting, or DJing.
