Coming on the back of a six-game losing streak the Auburn Tigers’ Women’s Basketball team came back looking for their first SEC win against the Alabama Crimson Tide. On a historic day for Auburn Women’s Basketball, with the hanging of a banner for the winningest coach in Auburn Women’s basketball history, Joe Champi, Auburn simply could not get it done falling, 75-68. This was due to a combination of Alabama’s Khyla Wade-Warren with 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists, and a lack of production in the second half, because of a “lot of kids playing a lot of minutes” according to Auburn Head coach Johnie Harris.

After extending their win streak to 14 against Georgia, the Auburn Tigers (18-1, 7-0 SEC) stayed at home in Auburn Arena to take on the Kentucky Wildcats (15-3, 5-2 SEC). The night before the game, people had begun living in tents in order to secure a seat for this blockbuster matchup, creating the nickname “Jungle City”. The inhabitants of Jungle City were treated to an Auburn win thanks to a first-pick caliber performance by Jabari Smith, and dominance from Walker Kessler with 17 points.

After extending their win streak to 13 against Ole Miss, The Auburn Tigers (17-1, 6-0 SEC) came back home to take on the Georgia Bulldogs (5-13, 0-5 SEC) in Auburn Arena. The Tigers would go on to dominate the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, 83-60 thanks to Walker Kessler with 15 points, a double-double from Wendell Green JR and a loyal and loud Auburn Crowd.

AUBURN, Ala.—After trailing by as much as 14, the No. 4 Auburn Tigers rallied in Oxford to defeat the Ole Miss Rebels 80-71. The Tigers have now won 13 straight games, the third longest streak of the Bruce Pearl era.

The fourth-ranked Auburn Tigers traveled up to Tuscaloosa tonight to take on the 24th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tigers came into this game on an eleven-game winning streak, after knocking off the Florida Gators at home last Saturday night. Alabama came into this game cold after taking a loss to the Missouri Tigers in Colombia.

Coming on the back of a 10-game win streak, the Auburn Tigers (14-1) (3-0 SEC) came back home to Auburn Arena to take on the Florida Gators (9-5) (0-2 SEC). Bruce Pearl was looking for his 150th win as a Auburn Tiger, and he would go on to get it in a 85-73 win. Although it was not a perfect game for the Tigers they were still able to get it done thanks to a raucous Auburn crowd, and a combination of K.D Johnson’s 23 points and Walker Kessler’s eight rebounds.

Auburn (8-4) (SEC 0-1) after a postponed game versus Kentucky traveled to Coleman Coliseum on Sunday January 2, to not only start the new year, but also to start SEC play against the Alabama Crimson Tide (10-3) (SEC 1-1). Although the Tigers did not start the game hot, starting the first half shooting eight for 25, they were able to turn it around in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter, to produce a nail biter that came down to the last minute.

For the second time in as many games, No. 18 Auburn (6-2, 3-1 SEC) took down a ranked SEC West foe. Two weeks ago, the Arkansas Razorbacks fell victim to the Tigers, and tonight, in the friendly confines of Jordan-Hare Stadium, it was No. 10 Ole Miss (6-2, 3-2 SEC) falling at the hands of the Tigers by a 31-20 margin. The Tigers controlled the game from start to finish in front of a raucous home crowd as they never trailed after scoring a touchdown on their opening possession. After the offense carried the team in the first half, it was the defense’s turn to carry the load in a low scoring second half. Despite the offense struggling a bit in the second half, Auburn was able to run out the clock in crunch time with some big first downs on the ground. More importantly, Auburn is also in control of their own destiny in the SEC West as one of only two teams left in the division with only one loss in league play entering a pivotal stretch of league games in the month of November.

Following a 0-3 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on the No. 22 Auburn (12-9 SEC: 4-7) came back to Auburn Arena to play the LSU Tigers. (10-12, SEC:6-7) That ended in a sweep for LSU with the final set ending in a score of 25-17.

Coming off their bye week, the No. 18 Auburn Tigers (5-2, 2-1 SEC) will look to continue their momentum established in a 15-point road win over Arkansas when they play host to No. 10 Ole Miss (6-1, 3-1 SEC). Both teams have only one SEC loss and the winner will emerge as the biggest opposition to Alabama in the SEC West. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. on what is forecasted to be a chilly Saturday evening in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear orange as it is Auburn’s annual All Auburn All Orange game.

The Ole Miss Rebels (6-1, 3-1 SEC) sit just above Auburn at second place in the division, and an Auburn win would put the Tigers in the driver's seat to challenge Alabama for a bid to Atlanta in the Iron Bowl.

The No. 19 Auburn Tigers have won three games in a row and only allowed three goals in their last five games. They are in for a big test tomorrow night, however. The #4 Arkansas Razorbacks are coming to town. The match is set to kick-off at 6:30 p.m. CST at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

The No. 23 Auburn Tigers hosted the Florida Gators over at the Auburn Soccer Complex this afternoon. Auburn was looking to improve to 11-3 overall and 4-2 in the SEC on the year. Florida was looking to bring their record to 4-8-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the SEC.

The Auburn Tigers hosted the Missouri Tigers in volleyball today at Auburn Arena. I was in studio for the game, Jacob Goins and Noah Phillips were over at Auburn Arena. Auburn was 10-6 going into the match, Missouri was 3-15.
