The Auburn volleyball team (6-19, 0-14) has continued to play hard despite experiencing a tough season so far. With four matches left in the regular season, there are several different areas of play Auburn needs to improve upon to get its first win in SEC play.
Bo Nix and the offense stayed dormant for three quarters. The defense did not play to their full potential but by no means were the reason for the 21-14 loss. Before a 14 point spurt in the final quarter, the Tigers had 5 three-and-outs and were unable to get the ball inside the UGA 20.
Auburn destroys the Colgate Raiders in Auburn's last home game of the month. A dominating first half helped lead the Tigers to a 29 point victory.

Auburn Basketball has gotten off to a fast start by opening the season 3-0. The Tigers scored 83, 76 and 70 points in the wins, respectively. This is an average of 76.3 points per game which is a good compliment to a defense allowing only 69.7 points per game. Auburn has struggled to protect the basketball and make free throws so far this season, though.
Freshman Annie Hughes and sophomore Brooke Moore make a big impact for Tigers in first game of the season. It may have seemed tough for the Tigers to replace the talent lost, but Hughes and Moore were ready for the challenge. Auburn gets its first victory against Wofford despite having to play several freshmen during the game.
The Tigers struggle defensively against the Monarchs as they fall 89-77. The Monarchs hit 14 three-pointers and attacked the Tigers full court press. The Tigers only shot 43% from the field and couldn't find any rhythm on offense.

Auburn defeated a strong mid-major team in Davidson by 10 points on Friday in the Veterans Classic. It was a neutral site showdown in Annapolis, Maryland hosted by Navy. The Tigers were led by freshman Isaac Okoro in his second career game.
