Auburn gets its first gymnastics win inside of Coleman Coliseum against Alabama

The No. 11 Auburn Tigers (10-3, 3-2) defeated the No. 17 Alabama Crimson Tide (3-6, 0-6) for their first gymnastics win inside Coleman Coliseum. The Tigers and Crimson Tide had their highest scores of the season in the Iron Bowl of gymnastics, but the Tigers finished with 197.750 and the Crimson Tide finished with 197.350.

After defeating Virginia on a thrilling walkoff walk in the eighth inning earlier in the day, Auburn softball (8-0) faced off against UCF for the first time since the 3 a.m. thriller in the regionals last year for their third outing of the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational. Auburn survived an early barrage of strikeouts to top UCF 1-0.
