The No. 4 national seed Auburn Tigers (41-18) clobbered the North Carolina State Wolfpack (35-21) 11-1 on Sunday night to advance to the fifth Super Regional in the program’s storied history.
No. 11 Auburn (29-14, 10-10) fell to Mississippi State (25-18, 7-13) 12-7 in game two of the three-game series on Saturday night. The Tigers struggled on the mound throughout the night and could not muster enough runs to overcome an early deficit.
After a three-hour and fifteen-minute rain delay Friday night, No. 11 Auburn (29-13, 10-9) defeated Mississippi State (24-18, 6-13) 6-5. The Tigers secured the one-run victory in a back-and-forth affair.

No. 9 Auburn (23-10, 6-6) will host No. 3 LSU (31-3, 10-2) in a three-game series this weekend at Plainsman Park. Auburn has won all three home SEC series so far this season, but LSU will present a more significant challenge than possibly any Auburn has faced. The Bayou Bengals are coming off a road sweep against top-10 Oklahoma last weekend and have lost just one series in SEC play.
No. 9 Auburn (23-10, 6-6) defeated No. 15 Georgia Tech (26-7) 9-8 in a back-and-forth game on Tuesday night. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead before the Yellow Jackets came back to take the lead. Auburn responded, however, to retake the lead in the eighth inning and secure the victory.
No. 9 Auburn (22-10, 6-6) will travel to Atlanta to face off against No. 15 Georgia Tech (26-6) in a mid-week top-15 showdown. Tuesday’s game is sandwiched between two big home SEC series for the Tigers, but the game against the Yellow Jackets is just as important.
Auburn (32-6) fell to Florida (35-4) 79-73 on Saturday night in the Final Four. The Tigers played an outstanding first half but second-half woes proved costly, leading to the end of arguably the best season in Auburn basketball history.
The top overall seed Auburn (32-5) will face fellow one-seed Florida (34-4) in the Final Four on Saturday evening in San Antonio. Nearly two months ago, the Gators entered Neville Arena and took down the top-ranked Tigers behind a strong performance from star guard Walter Clayton Jr. and perhaps more surprising, their front court. If the Tigers hope to avenge that loss and secure a spot in the National Championship it will start with winning the battle in front court.
