The Auburn Tigers will face their first true road test on Sunday afternoon when they head to the mountains to take on Appalachian State.
The Auburn Tigers season was cut short on Thursday evening by the Western Michigan Broncos. The Broncos defeated the Tigers in straight sets in the first round of the NCAA tournament to send Auburn home early. (25-18, 25-17, 25-19)
Auburn Volleyball’s Madison Scheer was recognized by the SEC today, receiving All-SEC honors. Scheer joins 17 other athletes on the All-SEC team.
It was the way it should have been. An Auburn team that most of the country believed to surely be inferior to the Crimson Tide. But at the same time, that really didn’t matter. It was the Iron Bowl in Jordan-Hare, anything could have happened. Auburn would lead for the majority of the second half, and seemed to have the win firmly within reach. That’s when Alabama would convert a 4th and goal from the Auburn 31-yard line with only 32 seconds left to defeat the Tigers 27-24.
Another installment of college football’s greatest rivalry will kick off on Saturday. Auburn vs Alabama. The Iron Bowl. One of the most historic and unpredictable rivalries will add its 88th chapter in Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday afternoon.

After a dominating trip to the Big Apple, the Auburn Men’s Basketball team was back inside Neville Arena on Tuesday Night, hosting the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. The game was never really close, as the Tigers raced out to a 49-15 halftime lead, ultimately defeating the bulldogs by a score of 84-54.
Women's Basketball opens the season with a big 78-49 victory over Jacksonville State.
Auburn Volleyball completed their successful rivalry weekend sweep Sunday afternoon, taking down the Alabama Crimson Tide in four sets. The Tigers and the Tide split the first two sets before Auburn was able to close out the match, winning sets three and four by scores of 25-23 and 25-22.
