The Auburn Tigers (14-6-1, 0-3 SEC) are back home in Plainsman Park this weekend, looking for a fresh start after last weekend. The Tigers got swept by the No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville and were outscored 21-5 over the three-game series. Auburn also knocked off the South Alabama Jaguars 6-5 in Montgomery last night. Needless to say, Auburn is excited to return home and turn its attention toward the Georgia Bulldogs (14-7, 0-2 SEC).
Heading into the night Auburn (14-6-1, 0-3 SEC) had lost its last three games and were 1-5 in the previous six matchups. The Tigers were in desperate need to add another game to the win column against South Alabama (8-13) and that is exactly what the team did, as Drew Nelson was able to lead Auburn to victory by a score of 6-5.

The No. 3 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks completed their three-game sweep of the Auburn Tigers today in Fayetteville, winning on Sunday 5-0, and dropping the Tigers to 13-6-1 and 0-3 in SEC play to begin the 2023 season. The Razorbacks continue their 13-game winning streak and improve their record to 18-2 with a 3-0 SEC record.
AUBURN, Ala.—Auburn’s first postseason under head coach Johnnie Harris has come to an end with the Tigers falling to Clemson on the road, 56-55. In a rematch of the 2022 Auburn regional, the Southeastern Louisiana Lions took two out of three games against the Auburn Tigers (12-3-1), handing them their first series loss of the season.
In another meet that saw the Tigers without Suni Lee, Cassie Stevens guided Auburn to victory by winning the all-around title for the second week in a row.
Despite coming back from a 15-point deficit in the second half and a 20-point game from K.D. Johnson, Auburn was not able to get past the Razorbacks.
