“I thought Robby managed things well…I thought under the circumstances…he did a good job. He made some good decisions for us, we took care of the football…he played well, he utilized his legs, he made some good throws at times…that’s something to build on going into this week,” said Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin on how he thought Robby Ashford performed in his first start as an Auburn Tiger.
It’s game week once again for the Auburn Tigers, and while they are only three games into the season, there is a sense of intense doubt and concern about the Auburn football program.
It is the start of a new game week and once again the media descended upon the Auburn athletics complex to hear from Coach Bryan Harsin and select players at their Monday press conference.
The Auburn Tigers volleyball program continues a historic start for the program, now setting a new program record with an 11-0 start to a season. This weekend they were in Jacksonville, Alabama for the JSU Invitational to take on Southern Miss on Friday and Jackson State and Jacksonville State on Saturday.

When the clock hit zero inside Jordan-Hare Stadium, the score favored the Tigers, who took the 24-16 victory over the Spartans of San José State.
On Sunday afternoon the Tigers traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. This is the first matchup between the teams since 2011, when the Demon Deacons took the win 4-1 at the Auburn soccer complex.
The Tigers look to begin their quest to Cary, NC as they kick off the season on Thursday August 18 vs the Old Dominion Monarchs at 6:30 pm at the Auburn Soccer Complex and live on weglfm.com.

“I’m thankful to get this one…but it’s gonna be one of those weeks where we knew going into it how big a week this is gonna be,” Thompson said when talking about tomorrow night’s matchup versus Kennesaw State and this weekend’s series with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
