Determined Auburn awaits Alabama

·

Just two weeks ago, a top-ten Auburn team went to Tuscaloosa looking to knock off their arch rival. Instead, they found themselves down 14 points at halftime and fighting to make it a game. They found success in the second half, but in the end, they came up just short against the Tide. Now, the two will face off again, this time in Neville Arena, and according to Auburn star forward Johni Broome, “it’s personal.”

Tale of two halves: Auburn falls at Arkansas

Auburn (14-8, 3-6) fell to Arkansas (17-7, 5-4) in Fayetteville on Saturday evening. The Tigers went to Fayetteville, still looking for their first road conference win. The start was as good as they could have hoped for, but the Razorbacks found their rhythm in the second half to comeback and take down the Tigers.

Tale of Two Halves: Auburn Falls to No. 1 South Carolina 76-54

The Auburn Tigers (14-7, 3-5) opened the month of February by hosting the #1 South Carolina Gamecocks (20-0, 8-0) inside Neville Arena for a game that was a tale of two halves. Even though the final score was 76-54, it does not mean that Auburn did not play well, and the game was not in contention from the start. The first half was extremely competitive, and Auburn was keeping up with the number-one team in the country.

Step into Black History Month with the Auburn Tigers taking on the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks

As Black History Month kicks off, the Auburn Tigers (14-6, 3-4) take on the #1 South Carolina Gamecocks (19-0, 7-0) inside of Neville Arena. For the Tigers, this game comes with some program significance if Auburn emerges victorious. In terms of overall record, a win would guarantee Auburn a winning regular season record, 12 home game wins, and secure a four-game SEC winning streak for the first time in 10 years.
