Auburn returned home on Wednesday night following three consecutive losses and two road games. After a sluggish first half, Auburn opened things up in the second half and defeated Missouri 92-58. With that win, Auburn will look to continue the winning ways in upcoming home games against Alabama and Florida.

Auburn is now searching for a new offensive coordinator for the second time in three seasons. According to reports, Chip Lindsey will not return after serving two seasons on staff. Lindsey will reportedly head to Kansas to join Les Miles’ staff in the same position.

The Auburn Tigers came into the 83rd Iron Bowl with a record of 7-4 hoping to upset the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. It seemed like the Tigers could make it happen during the first half, but ultimately Tua Tagovailoa played like the Heisman contender that he is.

The Auburn Tigers opened up the 2018-19 season with a 101-58 win over South Alabama. Something that stood out to most was Auburn’s three-point shooting. In the win, the Tigers shot 47.4 percent from the three-point line. Last season, Auburn relied heavily on three-point shots. Based off the season opener, it seems that will continue for Auburn.

Senior Janiah McKay and sophomore Unique Thompson were both named to the Preseason All-SEC second team. This is the first preseason All-SEC selection for both players. Auburn was also selected to finish eighth in the SEC. All 14 SEC coaches voted on these selections.

The Auburn Soccer team has bounced back from a rough stretch of matches which they went 0-3-1 in with two hard fought 1-0 wins. Their win at Missouri gave head coach Karen Hoppa her 300th career win. Auburn is now up to #21 in the RPI ranking which is a determining factor for NCAA Tournament hosts.

The Auburn Tigers suffered their second loss of the season on the road to Mississippi State which dropped them to #21 in both the Coaches and AP Poll. This puts a huge dent in Auburn’s playoff hopes. Many fans and experts are counting out the Tigers. The chances are slim, but there certainly is a path to the playoff; Auburn just needs a lot of help.
