Auburn (12-6,1-4) fell just short in their second upset bid of the week as they visited Nashville for a showdown with the Commodores (17-2,4-1). Auburn hot off a win at home against the seventh-ranked LSU Tigers went to the Commodores who, coming into the day were 10-1 at home and they improved to 11-1 as they sweated out a 53-50 win in a tough game.

Auburn (9-2) hosted Alabama State (4-7) in the penultimate game of 2023 for the Tigers. The Tigers were dominant over the Hornets who were 0-5 on the road this year rolling into Neville arena as they would leave 0-6, as the Tigers did not take their foot off the gas winning 82-62.

Auburn (7-2) made a road trip to Little Rock Arkansas to visit the Trojans (0-7). The Tigers pulled out a comfortable 13-point win with a 58-45 final score. The win was the first time since the 18-19 season that the Tigers won back-to-back games on the road. This being their final non-conference road game, a win was important for morale as they come back for a five-game homestand that stretches to January 4 when they host Tennessee to open SEC play.

Auburn (0-1) kicked off their season against a consensus top 20 squad, the Baylor Bears (1-0), falling 88-82 to the Bears. The Tigers were the only SEC team to kick its season off against a top-25 team and they put on a classic show in a classic arena as the teams clashed in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the famous Heritage Court.

Auburn, Alabama- The Tigers (3-4, 0-4) hung in with a tough Ole Miss (6-1, 3-1) offense, giving the Rebels a run for their money, holding a potent offense to a respectable 28 points. The defense once again tried their best to keep this Auburn team in a game against a scoring machine but the offense's failure to get in a groove after the first quarter took its toll on the defense, leading to a 28-21 defeat.

The Auburn Tigers (5-3-3, SEC: 1-1-1) fought a defensive battle with the Rebels of Ole Miss (5-3-2, SEC: 1-1-1) as both offenses struggled to get the final touch to break the scoreless tie. The Tigers kept the match level through impressive goalie play and final-third defending from the whole defense.
