The No. 20 Auburn Tigers hosted the Alabama Crimson Tide at Plainsman Park this weekend for a three-game series. Auburn came into this one after dropping two out of three games against the No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks at home last weekend and beating the Troy Trojans 11-4 on the road Tuesday night. Alabama came into this series after losing two out of three games to the No. 19 LSU Tigers at home last weekend and beating the Jacksonville State Gamecocks 13-6 on the road Tuesday night.

After losing a series to No. 3 Arkansas, the No. 20 Auburn Tigers (33-16) (13-11 SEC) traveled down to Riddle-Pace Field to gain some momentum against the Troy Trojans (29-18) (13-11 Sun Belt). The Tigers rode a fast start, and electric bats from the whole team to win 11-4.

Auburn came into this series after sweeping the South Carolina Gamecocks at home last weekend and knocking off Jacksonville State on the road in Jacksonville, AL on Tuesday night. The No. 18 Auburn Tigers (30-12) (11-7 SEC) travelled to Jacksonville State (18-20) (11-7 ASUN) with a six-game win streak in their sails, the Tigers were of course looking for their seventh win, to boast confidence going into the heavyweight matchup against No. 1 Tennessee this weekend, and as Head Coach Butch Thompson said “This was a good win for us," as the Tigers picked the win 8-4, thanks to a combination of Brody Moore’s hitting and an amazing defensive displays from Kason Howell.

The No. 18 Auburn Tigers (36-10) (9-9 SEC) traveled to Starkville Mississippi on the backs of a five game win streak to set up what felt like a big fight feel against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. (29-19) (8-10 SEC) Despite starting slow with a 3-2 loss for the Tigers, but was quickly rectified in games two and three as the Tigers went on to win the series thanks to the big bats of Bri Ellis and Nelia Peralta, and another big weekend from Maddie Penta.

After coming off four previous games won in run rule, there where high hopes that it could be done again as the No. 18 Auburn Tigers (24-9) (7-8 SEC) took on the Chattanooga Mocs (21-19) (5-4 SOCON) in what was a dominate, all though not perfect, performance from the Tigers, as Auburn won 7-3.

On a Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth, Texas, the Auburn Tigers were making history. They would be competing in the gymnastics national championship meet against three very storied programs in colligate gymnastics. A year of trials and success would all come down to one final meet against three of the top four teams in the nation.

After beating Mercer in six innings, the No. 19 Auburn Tigers (32-9) (7-8 SEC) came back to Jane B. Moore Field to take on the Niagara Purple Eagles (11-16) (5-3 MAAC) in a doubleheader on Friday April 15th. Auburn dominated the day winning the first game 8-0 in six innings and the second game 15-7 in five innings thanks to 26 total hits on the day, and riding fast starts to victory.

In a season full of historic moments, Auburn has made history again. The Tigers are heading to the Final Four for the first time ever, after placing second in the final semifinal behind the Florida Gators. Florida led the pack with a score of 197.9750 while Auburn was right behind at 197.8375.

On a Tuesday night at Plainsman Park for “Bark in the Park” night, it was fitting for the Auburn Tigers to be taking on the Samford Bulldogs in a mid-week showdown of the in-state teams. The Bulldogs started it off early with taking two early walks followed by a 6-4-3 double play hit by Kaden Dreier that brought in the Bulldogs only run of the game. That was all the scoring the Bulldogs would have for the evening. For the rest of the game, Auburn’s pitchers would have seventeen strikeouts only allowing three hits from the Bulldogs for the rest of the game.

Auburn had their annual inner-squad “A-Day” game today inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The biggest question going into today was who will get the most playing time at the quarterback position. The new look of the defense was also a big talking point.

The Auburn Tigers traveled up to Birmingham, AL yesterday to take on the UAB Blazers at Regions Field for a one-game contest. Mason Barnett was the starting pitcher for Auburn and Thomas Ballard was the starting pitcher for UAB.

After beating Alabama State, the No. 17 Auburn Tigers softball team (29-6) (7-5 SEC) stayed home in Jane B. Moore Field to take on the No. 7 Florida Gators (30-6) (7-5 SEC) in what was a heavyweight matchup, that ended in a series win for the Florida Gators who just beat the Tigers 2-1.
