Auburn Soccer Continues Home Stretch Against UMass Lowell

The No. 14 Auburn Tigers will take on the  UMass Lowell Riverhawks tomorrow night at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

Auburn is looking to improve to 4-0-3 after picking up the 1-0 victory over the Army Black Knights at home on Sunday afternoon. 

The Riverhawks are 2-3-1 coming into this match, they drew 2-2 with the UMass Amhurst Minutewomen their last time out.

Auburn's specialty has been defense so far this season.

Tigers goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska has only let one ball by her so far and has recorded 19 saves.

Auburn has struggled to produce offensively at times this season, having two games that ended with no score and three games where they have only scored once.

The only game so far this year when goals were plentiful was when the Tigers routed the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles 9-0 in their second match.

Auburn has three players who have scored two goals this season: midfielder Anna Haddock, forward Sabrina McNeil and midfielder Sydnie Thibodaux.

UMass Lowell has been outscored by opponents 13-10 so far this season. 

The leading scorer for for the Riverhawks this season is forward Ioanna Pupateodorou with four goals.

Some additional Riverhawks to look out for are forwards Calliste Brookshire and Chloe Layne who have both scored three goals.

The match will kick off at 6:30 P.M. over at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
