Auburn (0-8) wrapped up its fall season Thursday night with a 3-0 defeat to Tennessee (4-4) at Auburn Arena.

The Tigers struggled in the second set. Auburn was able to tie the set at 6-6 after a Tennessee attack error. However, the Lady Vols responded with a 7-0 run that included two kills by Ava Bell. Tennessee eventually won the second set 25-12.

Auburn’s issues continued into the third set. Tatum Shipes tied the set at 3-3 with a kill, but Tennessee ran away with the third set and won 25-14.

Shipes led Auburn with 12 kills on the night along with Jaeden Brown and McClellan having six and five kills, respectively. Jaeden Brown led the Tigers with 27 assists and Lauren Dorrell had a career-high 12 digs.
