WEGL Radio Set for 2020 ABBY Awards in Birmingham, 2020 IBS Awards in New York

Anxious is one way of putting it.

For months the station has waited, but it all comes to an end this Saturday. WEGL Radio is up for 10 different awards, nine from the 2020 IBS Awards in New York and one from the ABBY Awards in Birmingham, Alabama. Here is a breakdown of the awards that WEGL have been nominated for:

2020 IBS Awards

WEGL Sports Play-by-Play and Color commentary of Auburn Volleyball and Hockey lead the way while The Scoreboard, hosted by Bay Marks and Jacob Hillman, lead the way for Best Sports Talk Radio Show in the nation. The Xtra Point, hosted by Jared Dillard and company, is in line for Best Sports Talk TV Show in the nation. Jared Dillard is also up for the Len Mallioux Management Sports Director of the Year Award for the nation's best Radio Sports Director.
