Auburn Volleyball Drops Home Finale to South Carolina
Auburn fell in straight sets to South Carolina on senior day. The Gamecocks took the sets by a score of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-19. The Tigers were out blocked by the Gamecocks 16-4, which proved costly in the match. Lily Thomason led the Tigers with 12 kills, while Tatum Shipes finished with eleven. Morgan Kull, one of four seniors recognized on the day, finished with a game high 34 assists. Libero Bella Rosenthal led the Tigers defense with 13 digs. Kull was one of four seniors honored, along with Enija Bidzane, Shaina White, and Shea McNamara. The game was the home finale for the Tigers. Their final two matches of the season are on the road against Tennessee and Alabama. The loss drops Auburn to 6-21 (0-16 SEC).
