The Auburn Tigers (6-10) are back home for two games this weekend welcoming 25th ranked Missouri for a Friday night showdown and Georgia on Sunday.

SEC play hasn’t favored the Tigers well lately as they are currently 0-5 but Coach Rick Nold believes thing will be changing. The team is very young and inexperienced playing together so a good week of practice may be all that the Tigers need coming into a busy weekend at the Auburn Arena.

Conference play is no easy task especially in the South Eastern region with powerhouse teams like Ole Miss and Florida who sit top two. Missouri who sits at .500 in conference play come to town looking to get back on track after falling in 4 sets last week to the Rebels.

The Tigers (not Auburn this time) are 10-4 this season after beginning the season with 8 consecutive wins defeating Michigan (#14) in the process. All time vs Auburn, Missouri is 11-1 with their only loss coming back on Sept. 6, 1996 in the teams first ever meeting. Led by Junior Kylie Deburg, who currently leads the SEC in total kills, aces, and points will be in action Friday night.

Catch the game on WEGL 91.1 FM where Chiason Tenkiang and Aidan Kowalski will be LIVE courtside with pregame coverage beginning at 6:45CT.
