A new era of sports talk shows and fan interaction will be brought to The Plains.

As the new semester starts at Auburn, the morning show slot sees a change. The Wake Up Call, hosted by Noah Gardner with Jared Dillard, Jack Hart and Brooks Childress as guest members, will have The Xtra Point take it's morning show slot.

From 7am-9am Monday-Thursday, you will be able to tune in to the Xtra Point live on WEGL on multiple platforms.

  • You will be able to listen to the show live on the radio at 91.1 FM or online on WEGL's website at weglfm.com.
  • For the first time as well, you will be able to watch live on Twitter @WEGL_AU. Featuring multiple camera angles, you will be able to watch a radio show on WEGL or in the city of Auburn like never before. You can interact with the show by calling into the studio or asking questions on Twitter during the broadcast while the show is airing.
  • After the show is done, you will be able to catch the audio only version on SoundCloud and iTunes by searching WEGL 91.1 FM.
  • For the video formats, you will be able to catch them on Twitter and on Eagle Eye TV Channel 6 after the fact.  Viewers can watch Eagle Eye TV’s content on Charter Spectrum channel 182 and WOW! channel 13 off campus. You can watch on campus on channel 6 or at eagleeyeauburn.com

The show will be ran by multiple students associated with WEGL's sports department ranging from writers, reporters, play by play talent and other show hosts. Focusing on not only Auburn sports, but national as well, the show brings plenty of segments and laughs as it looks to change the way students, fans, listeners and fanatics tune in and interact with radio shows.
