The Auburn baseball team will finish fall exhibition play when they host Samford at 5pm CT at Plainsman Park. The game is free to the public and will be broadcasted live on WEGL 91.1 FM or online at weglfm.com starting with the pregame show at 4:45 pm CT.
The Tigers and Bulldogs will compete in a 12-inning game with free substitutions. Samford is coming off a 2018 Southern Conference Tournament Championship and appearance in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. The Bulldogs return three of the team’s top five hitters and its ace on the mound, Samuel Strickland, from last year.
Auburn won last Saturday's exhibition game vs Western Carolina 7-1 behind the young core of freshman that saw some significant playing time.
