Auburn welcomes Ole Miss to the Plains to kick off a busy week

Auburn (8-11, 1-8 SEC) takes on Ole Miss(12-11, 2-7 SEC) this Friday at 7:00PM in the Auburn Arena.

Hitting Report

Auburn is coming back home their home arena losing three games on the road to Texas A&M (25-19, 25-17, 25-21), LSU (25-22, 25-21, 25-23), and Missouri (25-21, 25-10, 21-25, 25-16) giving the Auburn tigers a losing streak of five games.  Middle Blocker, Anna Stevenson is #3 in the SEC for blocks at the net.  

Scouting Ole Miss

Ole Miss is coming to The Plains coming off a win against Mississippi State (18-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-18) ending a three game losing streak losing to Missouri (0-3), number 16 Kentucky (0-3), and number 11 Florida (1-3).

Players to Watch

Auburn senior Brenna Mcllroy just reached her milestone of 1000 digs in her last game against Missouri. She became the 7th Auburn player all-time with 1,000 kills and digs in their careers.  Mcllroy leads the team with 200 kills and 30 service aces.  

For Ole Miss, junior outside hitter, Emily Stroup leads the SEC with and a 4.57 kill/set ratio.

This will be a pivotal game for both teams as they look to climb the rankings in the SEC.  Auburn and Ole Miss will both try and use this opportunity to create momentum in their seasons.
