WEGL 91.1 FM in collaboration with the State Farm Arena will be hosting an Instagram ticket giveaway to Kane Brown’s concert on June 8.
Brown began his “In The Air” tour on March 28 in Charlottesville, VA. He is a 5-time American Music Awards (AMA) winner and was named the “future of country music” by Billboard in 2018. Kane Brown also became the first artist to lead five country charts simultaneously with his 2016 self-titled album.
Brown’s music has been described as traditional country with elements of modern pop and R&B.
“A lot of people that only like country music, they’re not fans of mine,” said Brown in an interview with Rolling Stone. “My fans love everything. You can find my fans at a Drake show; you’ll find my fans at Post Malone all the way to Pink. They just love music in general.”
Tyler Hubbard will appear as an opener for Brown’s performance in Atlanta. Hubbard is one half of the duo, Florida Georgia Line, and has amassed approximately 1.3 billion streams with his rock and pop inspired country music.
Parmalee will be opening in addition to Hubbard at the concert with their discography of contemporary country. The four-member band has had three number one hits and accrued more than 1 billion on-demand streams.
