By the time the blue moon came peeking over the horizon on this Halloween evening, Auburn had thoroughly dismantled the defending national champions—the LSU Tigers. The defending National Champs came to town with expectations of a high scoring nail bitter between two recovering defenses. The result was a lopsided Auburn blowout that saw eight touchdowns in a 48-11 win. The Auburn Tigers are back and trending on the national stage finding all parts of their game in their fourth win of the season.

Who would have thought the defending national champions would be 2-2 and unranked entering the last weekend in October? To be fair, LSU lost an absurd amount of talent in the NFL Draft and then saw some key players opt out over COVID-19 concerns (most notably standout wide receiver Ja'marr Chase).
After an explosive performance on the road at Ole Miss, Seth Williams was recognized by the SEC as Co-Offensive Player of the Week. It feels warranted after his bounce-back performance, which saw him catch eight passes for 150 yards and the go-ahead touchdown.
