AUBURN, Ala. - It was the way it should have been. An Auburn team that most of the country believed to surely be inferior to the Crimson Tide. But at the same time, that really didn’t matter. It was the Iron Bowl in Jordan-Hare, anything could have happened. Auburn would lead for the majority of the second half, and seemed to have the win firmly within reach. That’s when Alabama would convert a 4th and goal from the Auburn 31-yard line with only 32 seconds left to defeat the Tigers 27-24.

AUBURN, Ala. - After a dominating trip to the Big Apple, the Auburn Men’s Basketball team was back inside Neville Arena on Tuesday Night, hosting the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. The game was never really close, as the Tigers raced out to a 49-15 halftime lead, ultimately defeating the bulldogs by a score of 84-54.

The Auburn Tigers (3-3) fell to a two-game losing streak this past Monday after a 60-53 loss on the road in Orlando Florida against the UCF Golden Knights (4-0). A game that saw nine lead changes and a career day for sophomore Sydney Shaw.

Iron City featured some time-traveling ghosts on Wednesday as Stephen Sanchez and the Moon Crests came down for the second time this year. This is Sanchez’s first appearance in Birmingham since his new album, Angel Face, was released in September. Sanchez was supported by modern day crooner, Stephen Day.

Hotel Fiction made their third trek down to Auburn University on November 3rd for WEGL’s fall concert on campus. The indie rock band previously played WEGL and UPC’s Tigerfest in 2021 and WEGL’s 51st Birthday Bash End-of-School Extravaganza in 2022. Hotel Fiction was supported by local Auburn musicians Walter Lloyd and Lunar Parque.

Auburn (1-1) beat Southeastern Louisiana (1-1) 86-71 on Friday night in its home opener. The Tigers did not play the prettiest game but still came out victorious, in large part due to star forward Johni Broome.
